i know i know, german lyrics (sigh).

i'm german but have been living in the states for 14 years now. post national as far as i'm concerned. when i was a kid, i listened to english-language rock and pop music, and i kinda loved the fact that i had no clue what the lyrics said. i mean, depeche mode sounds a lot better if you think the lyrics are, you know… better. anyway.

i came up with the chords on an actual piano, but mine is so out of tune that i was not happy with the recording, so i was looking for something organic and found this Reaktor steam pipe patch. it's thin, but i thought it fits the whole thing.

Super awesome.  The percussion's perfect for this song.  Wish I understood German, but you did a good job on the vocals anyway.

Remember when
yeah of course
and i don't give a shit
cause now is now and nothing else

and anyway
did you ever look around
see what's going on
take a look

chorus:
present time
check it out
realize what's going on

verse 2:
you know this world
is turning moment by moment
and they pass really fast
before you know
can't get them back

thanks! I should have put the lyrics up.

This is really nice and reminds me a bit of David Byrne.  Thanks for sharing!
